The training offer for 2012 is extended with a number of new courses. In addition to our existing offerings such as working at height and rescue, confined space rescue, working safely in and around the water, first aid and trauma care, we now also offer the following training courses:
* VCA
* Gas Detection
* Confined Space Attendant.
* Working with self contained breathing apparatus.
VCA
VCA you can chose two VCA (HSE checklist contractors (HSE = Safety Health and environment)) obtain certificates, VCA-basic and VCA-complete. VCA-basic gives workers without a thorough understanding of what function executives safety at the workplace and what their task this is. VCA-is full of executives and handled in addition to safety at the workplace, also the role of the leading it.
Confined Space Attendant
Confined space attendant is a course in which workers are taught to the safety of the people in and around the confined spaces to maintain. Thinking of checking the work permit, the welfare of the people in the confined spaces, but also monitoring of the atmosphere by means of gas meters. They are also responsible for early warning of the ERT/emergency services in the event of an incident. This course is a mix of theory and practice given in our training center or at your location.
Gas Detection
Working with harmful substances is not always clear. The most harmful substances are not perceptible without appropriate equipment.
In the Gas detection course we treat the what, how and why of gas detection. There is extensive attention to different types of gases, oxygen levels, explosion levels and safe working values. Thinking of concepts such as 10% LEL, mac-value and 20.9% O2.
Working with self contained breathing apparatus
Also working with self contained breathing apparatus is one of our new courses. In this course you will be taught what the different ways of breathing air protection. Dust caps to multiple hour connections. This course consists of a part theory but also a large practice part. This allows you to learn in a controlled environment and experienced what it is like to work with an self contained breathing apparatus and move.
