Whitewater Rescue Technician | advanced (WRT A)
Audience:
White water athlete that are involved in supporting a rescue team or they can be faced with carrying out rescue operations them selfs, such as corporate employees who carry out activities in inhospitable areas or in difficult circumstances and which may not always be counted on the emergency services.
Description:
In this training experienced white water athlete are trained safely carried out a rescue as a team in violent rivers or canyons. In the training, individual skills and team skills are futher devollepd, with extensive use of lightweight agents, prussiks, especially low budget resources to professionally carry out rescues with heavy loads. Things that lookt at in depth are: knot theory, extensive loads and forces, building anchors, extensive use of pulley systems, use of natural resources to increase elevation in the field, personal climbing and descending, lower and hoisting a rescuer and victim, use of improvised stretchers, long-term victim care, building horizontal span, situation analysis, incident management and various scenarios.

The successful completion of the course have Swiftwater Rescue Technician (SRT) or Whitewater Rescue Technician (WRT)
