Training with respiratory protection - Safety Region Utrecht

The H-team of the VRU (Safety Region Utrecht) has already done several training and scenarios days with Rescue 3 Benelux. To prepare the rope rescue team for rescue scenarios in confined spaces they intensively trained in vertical rope techniques and working with breathing apparatus. This proved a very valuable learning experience as working with breathing techniques in combination with rope in confined spaces is extremely complex. Besides the technical solutions, many of the organizational conditions play a major role in a safe rescue.
