Quality
Rescue 3 Benelux is a TÜV-certified company. This safety standard is designed to be compatible with the internationally recognized ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. TUV safety standard indicates how and with what resources a high quality and safe level work is needed.
Rescue 3 Benelux is a member of the Royal Metalunion and NWEA
Rescue 3 International is an organization that offers worldwide training, which fully meet the requirements of NFPA 1670 and NFPA 1006 in Swift Water Rescue Technical Rope Rescue. Most water rescue courses also meet the requirements set by the British government in the field of water rescue.

The NFPA, which stands for National Fire Protection Association is an organization that sets standards related to all aspects of fire and rescue. Unique to this organization is that they are entirely independent and currently the only organization in the world that writes standards/developed standards for the field of technical rescues. Meanwhile to meet NFPA standards is to be recognized worldwide as a quality mark.
The NFPA states that within the field of Technical Rescue there are three levels in whitch you can worked. This three levels are:
- Awareness level
- Operations level
- Technician level
Rescue 3 Benelux offers training courses certified by Rescue 3 International in the fields of technical rope rescue and water rescue, witin the extended field of Technical Rescue. On the two disciplines Rescue 3 Benelux offers a full range on the three different function levels (entirely according to NFPA guidelines).
Materials
In all courses, we use the latest materials. In the training the instructor will use modern multimedia materials, such as laptop, projector, whiteboard, dvd/video. During the training there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and the instructor will go in to these questions as much as possible. Where possible and desirable instructor will also offer advice to use or to purchase materials.
To participate in the training one should be at least 18 years and have a good physical condition (except for training first aid and trauma care).
Certification
All Rescue 3 International certified courses are valid for three years. If the training is successfully completed the student will receive an internationally valid certificate, ID card, badge and a skill sheet. A copy is also sent to Rescue 3 International, so the student is included in an international database.
