Swiftwater Rescue
Swift water creates more dangerous than standing water. In surface water rescue people here should take careful note. Think to swift water at dams, locks, sewers, flooded streets and flood plains.
In recent years, both at home and abroad, several people drowned by the dangers of swift water. Many of these dangers are underestimated by a lack of knowledge. The best way to learning to deal with these dangers is through be in a controlled practical environment to gain broad experience. Rescue 3 courses are internationally renowned for emergency services and water rescuers. Many lives were saved by well-trained professionals who knew how to deal with the specific problems of water, for example as in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Swiftwater & Flood first responder
In this training the participants learn about the risks involved in swift water rescue. We look at using the right equipment and the various safety measures and techniques to preforma rescue on swift water.
Whitewater Rescue Technician (WRT)
This training is designed for outdoor professionals and is a must for any kayaker / rafter or outdoor sports instructor and a global leader in white water safety and white water rescue.
Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technician (SRT)
This training is completed by a large numbers of emergency services around the world to get a solution to problems in technical rescues in swift water. Examples are floods in the UK, hurricane Kathrina and flooding of New Orleans.
Whitewater Rescue Technician | advanced (WRT A)
In this training experienced white water athlete are trained safely carried out a rescue as a team in violent rivers or canyons.
Swiftwater & Flood Rescue Technician | advanced (SRT A)
This training looks more indeeped to the topics in the traning swift water rescue technician, where there is ample attention for the techniques on working during night operations. For a significant proportion of time we pay attention to difficult technical (rope) rescues.
