Flood Rescue Boat Operator
Audience:
Employees of emergency services and rescue teams who are considered to, with the help of a boat / sledges without a motor or with a broken engine, or to save people or to evacuate at a water rescue or in a flood plain.
Description:
In this course, attention is given on how a boat without motor or a faulty engine can be control using paddles. Also there is a lot of practice in walking and wading with rescue platforms commonly used to evacuate people in a flood plain. This training was created by the demand for more training in working with rescue sleds, and rescue platforms used in floodplains or flooding. Many of the workers eg the UK, were found insufficiently capable of using paddles or wade to deal properly with such rescuetools.
